Welcome to Day 1 of #StrengthenTheAsana
For our first pose of this challenge, we have Tadasana- Mountain Pose.
To enter this pose, stand firmly with both feet flat on the ground or mat, and feel the solid foundation and support you have from the Earth.
Ground down through your feet, feeling all points of contact with your foot to the Earth. The heel, the arch, the ball of the foot and the toes.
Knowing that you are always supported by the Earth and this strong foundation.
Root up through the spine.
Taking a slight tuck of the tailbone, activate your core.
Roll the shoulders away from the ears,
Almost as if someone is lightly pushing them down from your ears,
While the head finds a nice floaty space in the center of your shoulders.
Growing up towards the sky.
Strong and tall, like a Mountain. .
