Today’s prompt for #AloBoutSelfLove is probably the hardest one for me, simply because I have too many answers. One thing I love about my yoga practice? How could I only list one?
Because we are speaking in terms of Self Love, one thing I love about my yoga practice is the amount of self acceptance it has taught me.
There was a time in my life when I started doing yoga all day, every day.
Anywhere from 4-7 hours a day, I would practice, practice, practice.
Many of these hours I would practice naked, in front of a mirror.
Watching my body bend in ways I didn’t know it could, seeing every aspect of myself, raw, moving, free.
It taught me how to love myself more and more each day. I fell in love with my body more each day. I began to see myself as this beautiful, magnificent, sexy, capable, powerful being.
I am grateful for yoga yeah I me this. .
