Journal Prompt: Do you pay attention to your breath? (Swipe to see one of the many ways of yes)
Our breath.
Our life force.
It’s the one thing that we have that stays with us throughout our whole life.
From the moment we are born until the moment that we transition.
It’s so important to focus on the quality of that.
Having anxiety disorder, it’s ESSENTIAL to pay attention to your breath.
It can be so easy to hyperventilate.
You have to stay aware in order not to.
Breathing exercises I have learned through the Alo Yoga YouTube channel (@aubrymarie ) and @alo.moves
for cleansing and meditations have completely changed my practice and mental state. I am so grateful for that.
As for the asana of yoga, I focus on and connect to my breath in every single pose.

If your answer to this question is “no” or “it’s hard for me.” Just know, it was hard and weird for mostly everyone at first. So many people go through the phases of “send my breath where?” Stay dedicated.
